A couple of weeks ago, I gave a presentation on SEO at the West Plano chapter of Biz Link Networking. Here is a brief overview of that presentation.
Local Search (Location, Location, Location)
Google is now providing search results based on your location. So for me when I search for a "pizza" place the first results are the locations near me here in Allen. One of the things we need to do with our websites is make sure our site is showing our location. However, if you are in a large metroplex area as I, you don't want to list all the cities that you serve. Keep it focused on your location.

Over the past couple of weeks I have watched a number of tributes to Steve Jobs. Cali Lewis over at GeekBeat shared her reflections of how iTunes and the video iPod has brought her to the place that she is today. And many others that have graced my Twitter, Google +, Facebook and nots forget the cool tribute on FlipBoard.
My first experience with an Apple Computer was back in 1979 at a computer cafe near the University of Texas campus in Austin. A friend and I rented the Apple II for an hour and played some of the early RPGs (role playing games).

I am always a strong supporter of wearing as much protective gear as you can stand. I always wear a helmet (full face), long sleeves (protective jacket with pads), gloves and over the ankle boots. Even with the 70 days of over 100° in the Dallas area this year, I was still in my protective gear.
I just saw this video on Google+ and thought I would share. The rider was very lucky. and it was great to see bystanders get involved.

Be safe wear your gear. |
